Makeup Revolution Golden Sugar Blush Palette Review w/Swatches
The one you have WAITED for !!. You have LOVED our Blush & Contour Palettes… NOW get some GOLDEN SUGAR. Introducing our third offering, and we explore the most amazing collection of bronzers, merged blushers, bakedbronzer and two merged baked highlighters.
I’ve been trying to keep the Revolution reviews to a minimum but I have sooooooooo many products from them it’s an impossible task. The number of posts I make is proportional to the amount of MUR stuff I use day to day as opposed to other brands. The one thing I just couldn’t not blog about was the new Golden Sugar palette. This is the third blush/contour/highlight palette, the first two being Sugar & Spice (pink) and Hot Spice (peach/orange). Each palette is just £6. That’s eight products at £0.75 each!! Like…. come the f*ck on. You can’t get a better deal than that.
Besides, jut look at it!! How glorious.
Anyway, as usual, we’re getting sleek black packaging with gold lettering on the front. On the back of the box, the shades are shown with the name of the palette. The actual palette itself if shiny and very prone to finger prints! But I love the professional eight pan look.
Now for the best bit…. swatches!!!
Oh god, jut looking at them in photos makes me want to go and load my cheekbones up with gorgeous shimmer and sheen. That gold!! It’s so perfect for deeper skin tones. All four of these have a glow without having any glitter at all.
These four are a little less intense buts still pack a mighty punch on the cheeks. The copper shade is absolutely phenomenal and is my go to for day-to-day applied with a fan brush. Obviously not as heavily as I’ve swatched itbut but if I did want to load it up like that I wouldn’t even care. It’s that good! The bronzer right at the top is more or less my skin colour so would be good for lighter skinned ladies looking for a bronzer to warm up he face or even to contour.
What I love is that these shade are all so rich and distinct in their own way. From silver and gold hues to pinks that can be layered over more colourful blushes for a fresh and naturally flushed look. I don’t think I need to say very much about this palette other than that you need it.
