Makeup Revolution Aqua Seal Liquid Eye Primer Review
I know we’ve all had that one eye shadow that has gorgeous glitter in it but when you apply it the glitter magically gets lost between the pan and your eyeball. We’ve all had that one loose pigment that loves to fudge up your flawless foundation with dark patches and black smudges on your cheeks. Well, Makeup Forever have been solving that problem for the North American beauties for a long while, but I’m yet to find any primer that claims to do the same (transform powder formulas and pencils into smudge-proof, long lasting makeup ) here in Britain.
That’s where the Makeup Revolution version of Aqua Seal comes in. Same deal, cheaper price. (£3.00)
Now I bought myself one of these a while ago when I bought a whole bunch of the MUR Pure Pigments. Recently MUR sent a handful of bits for review purposes which included a backup Aqua Seal. It also reminded me that I’d had this review typed and waiting for an age.

Now the product itself comes in a teeny little bottle (great for the makeup bag) that you can squeeze out through a narrow dropper. I’ve been getting a little bit just on the lids of random palettes for ease of use. What I do for daytime use is I mix it with whichever shadow or pigment I’ll be using as the main colour on the lid but not the transition or crease shades because it makes it difficult to blend them.
Mixed with the pigments and shadows you get the exact colour you see in the pots. It’s also fantastic when you have a bright shadow that you want to use to do a winged liner, it makes it really easy to apply the shadow smoothly and still maintain the vivid colour.

Really and truly I’m loving this product. It’s fantastic when a product lives up to what it claims to do, and this one certainly does. It’s a simple tool that is beneficial not just for eyeshadow. I’m looking forward to seeing how it fairs with extending the longevity of pencils and other makeup bits and bobs.

I have the Cappuccino eyeshadow too as I got the entire ‘Just Me in the Promised Land’ Collection and they’re all fab. This is the second blog post I’ve read today mentioning the ‘I Want U’ eyeshadow. I’m going to take it as a sign I need to buy it 😉 I didn’t really understand what the Aqua Seal was before, but reading this it looks impressive!
Fab post x

I’m not sure what their plans are for the US but the major European countries have MUR so fingers crossed they see the importance of getting this stuff to you guys. Then again, the US is HUUUGE! x
