MAKEUP REVOLUTION FLAWLESS MATTE 2 THUMB.jpg

Following the success of our original Flawless Matte palette we bring you 32 more highly pigment matte ultra eyeshadows in one palette. Everyday wearable tones so perfect for use into the evening. Easy to blend and long lasting, this is the perfect palette for on the go too as it comes complete with a full size mirror.

From light to dark, 32 matte shades for flawless eyes.

bloglineMy postman delivered me an unexpected treat last week Friday and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Makeup Revolution had a brand new Flawless Matte palette on the market. I’ve been out of the loop with makeup recently due to it being exam season so I didn’t even know this was being released but here she is! – I didn’t purchase the original Flawless Matte palette because when I swatched them in Superdrug they were all quite pale which wouldn’t work at all for my skintone so I’m glad to see a brand new palette that has least has some warm shades that can be worked into pale shadow looks.

My Kiko Infinity Clics Collection 2016 Review w/Swatches

blogline

KIKO CLIC STHUMB.jpg

I went to Kiko yonks ago and added a few more colours to my Clics collection. My plan is to make a 24 pan neutral palette with my Clics. As much as I love colour, I’m not really a fan of some of the bright Infinity shadows, I think they’re a bit to gaudy but the neutrals are all gorgeous.

The shadows individually cost £5.90 but NEVER pay that much for them. They have sales every month so the price drops to £2.80. There are 48 Infinity shadows to choose from plus six Infinity Sparkle shadows so you’re not stuck for choice.

Makeup Revolution Monday – Unicorns Unite Palette Review w/ Swatches – £6.00

MAKEUPREVOLUTIONUNICORNSUNITETHUMB.jpg

Calling all Unicorns! Unite and change the world with your own legendary
looks!
Made with the help of “Real” Unicorns in our Enchanted Magical Makeup
Forest.
Containing 18 shades - 12 Shimmer and 6 Matte, in a sleek and
professional palette with full size mirror.

This week’s palette is the Unicorn’s Unite palette!  I bought this some time ago a few days after its release when there was a 3for2 on palettes but for some reason, I’ve never gotten around to using it. When I grabbed it out of my palette stash the other day I’d barely even swatched it. That is so unusual for me but maybe it’s a sign of my palette collection problem that I’m now not even realising I have untouched and unused gems hidden away! So anyway, It’s about time we took a look at it!  Continue reading

Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Review w/ Swatches | £8.00

makeuprevolutionmermaidsforeverthumb.jpg

With our palette you can create looks that must come only from Folklore!
The Mermaids came ashore to bring us their aquatic beauty in this
mesmerising palette. Containing 32 shades in our ultra professional
formulation, with our huge mirror.

A while back Makeup Revolution ran a 3for2 on all palettes so I snapped up all of the ones I was interested in that didn’t have at the time. That included this glorious palette, Mermaids Forever, a collection of bright and vibrant metallic shades that come in the most beautiful coloured box! At the time makeup Geek were coming out with a whole heap of metallic foiled shadows and I really wanted to see if Makeup Revolution had anything similar combined all in one. i have many a fabulous sophisticated shimmer from MUR but I felt I was lacking some gorgeous bright pops that really packed a punch! I think I’ve found that here in the Mermaids Forever palette.

Naked Underneath? You Derty Betch – Makeup Revolution Naked Underneath (Fur) Palette Review w/ Swatches

THUMB
I’ve been sitting on this one for months! Uni just caught up with me and I slipped so far behind with blogging that a lot of the things I posted about on Instagram (@LaurenLondon94) just never seemed to make it to my blog. Plus, I lost the original images when my laptop decided it just fancied dying so….. Continue reading

Freedom Makeup London Mono Eyeshadow Armory – All 30 Shades – Review w/ Swatches
blogline

THUMB

I’m going to ruin in for you now and just say that I LOVE THESE SHADOWS. Keep reading to find out why! 😀

Each of Freedom’s mono shadows cost £1 making them comparable in price to MUA but comparable in quality to Makeup Revolution, Morphe and Makeup Forever. By buying all thirty together, you save £10. That’s right, for 60g of product, you pay only £20. I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago during a promotion where if you spend £25 you get £25 worth of free product and I’m currently working my way through reviews. I got a lot of stuff! You can see my first review of the Peach Spice blush and highlight palette, here.

I know that the everyday normal person doesn’t need this much eyeshadow and that Freedom is marketed towards professionals but come on…. once you see some of these colours you’ll understand me.

Anyway, these shadows come individually packaged in sturdy little circular pods and are separated into six different groups. I’ll split this post into each group with swatches and comments. Continue reading

Makeup Revolution Eye & Lipliners - Hypocrisy Review w/ Swatches

hypocrisythumbmakeuprev.jpg

I’m finally catching up with all of my PR products and this is one that I’ve actually been making so much use of. Makeup Revolution sent me a bunch of their new lip and eye liners, some of which are part of the Hypocrisy collection. Not so new now since I’ve had them for a month or so at least! But I’m back on a roll now since uni has finished and I graduated so expect some reviews of products from the past three or so months! – Each pencil is a pound and comes with a really handy sharpener as the lid . Sleek iDivine Supreme Review w/Swatches

thumb1

The Shangri La Supreme PPQ I-divine is a unique collaboration that is inspired by colours that drive African colours and fabrics, which were largely seen in the collection for PPQ 2013.

My god! How terrible! I hauled this palette in August 2014 and am only just getting around to the review. I’m a terrible beauty blogger! Like, really, unfollow me…… *Awkward laughter*

Anyway, Sleek Supreme. This is a limited edition iDivine, and you can’t actually buy it from Sleek anymore. You can however find this palette on eBay from sellers who had too much stock. Just search ‘Sleek Supreme’. Most are legit, trust me, I know a lot of people who own beauty supply stores and they tell me that’s exactly how it is. I digress….

Supreme really caught my eye because it’s cool toned and I always tend to go for warm, Continue reading
